Texas Road Trip Update

So I was in Lubbock, Texas over the weekend for the Texas Tech-Nebraska game. Not the most happenin' place in the world. First and foremost I have to take issue with the laws pertaining to the purchasing of beer and alcohol in Lubbock. The simple fact is you cannot buy beer or booze in Lubbock, except in bars. If you want to purchase four thirty packs of beer and half a gallon of vodka, you have to drive to what the locals call "the Strip". Five or six enormous liquor stores all side by side, with drive up service all lit up like some shitty backwoods tribute to Vegas. The prices are about 25% higher than normal as well. Retarded and lame. Anyway, back to the trip, the game was fun although a blowout with Tech winning 70-10. We, myself, Camara, Richard Luck, Brent and Eddie, were all very hung over all day. We really went all out on Friday nite. We took some cool pix of the stadium and game. Me and Camara shaved our heads because we were so bored. The flights were thankfully uneventful. We had a stopover in Albuquerque, where they were having the annual Hot Air Balloon Festival. Quite a sight at least a hundred(or so it seemed) in the air at once, very cool. Took a nap when I got home. It seemed like I barely slept the whole time. Bottom line: Great time. Out.
