Strangeness

Last night was very strange. The Boston Red Sox won the world series and there was a total lunar eclipse which looked very cool. I was rooting for Boston with the hope that the chowds will finally just shut the fuck up. I also had a very trippy dream that involved trout fishing in a supermarket, golf clubs, hot blondes and a bizarro San Diego. Very trippy indeed. Out.

My New Motto

I saw this on Fark and decided to appropriate it for my Blog's official second motto.

"We've upped our standards, now up yours."

Nice.

Texas Road Trip Update

So I was in Lubbock, Texas over the weekend for the Texas Tech-Nebraska game. Not the most happenin' place in the world. First and foremost I have to take issue with the laws pertaining to the purchasing of beer and alcohol in Lubbock. The simple fact is you cannot buy beer or booze in Lubbock, except in bars. If you want to purchase four thirty packs of beer and half a gallon of vodka, you have to drive to what the locals call "the Strip". Five or six enormous liquor stores all side by side, with drive up service all lit up like some shitty backwoods tribute to Vegas. The prices are about 25% higher than normal as well. Retarded and lame. Anyway, back to the trip, the game was fun although a blowout with Tech winning 70-10. We, myself, Camara, Richard Luck, Brent and Eddie, were all very hung over all day. We really went all out on Friday nite. We took some cool pix of the stadium and game. Me and Camara shaved our heads because we were so bored. The flights were thankfully uneventful. We had a stopover in Albuquerque, where they were having the annual Hot Air Balloon Festival. Quite a sight at least a hundred(or so it seemed) in the air at once, very cool. Took a nap when I got home. It seemed like I barely slept the whole time. Bottom line: Great time. Out.

Politics

I have been following the political scene pretty closely lately and it has occurred to me that nobody in their right mind would intentionally be a Liberal Democrat. The things the left is doing and saying are absolutely insane. To wit: Virtually anything that freak Kerry says, he should have been thrown in jail for treason back in 70's. "Political Correctness" gone wild, the crazyies are prosecuting some kid in Colorado for a hate crime over a schoolyard shoving match, where the kid being charged was defending himself from some wetback who was harassing him.

People, wake the fuck up and bitchslap the liberals once and for all on election day.

Texas Road Trip

Wow, been awhile. Its good to be back in the saddle. Lot of changes have happened recently. I'm finally back in school. The workplace is in upheaval since our manager left abruptly. But, those issues aside all is well. Road trip to Texas is on schedule. Me, Camara, Bavaro and a few others are going to Lubbock to see the Texas Tech vs Nebraska. I'm leaving early on the 7th and I'll be back the 11th. It should be alot of fun. Sherry and I are going skiing at Whistler with kent and his gf in January. That should be epic. More later. Out.
